Leslie Foren

Director of Program Strategy and Evaluation

As Director of Program Strategy and Evaluation, Leslie is responsible for managing strategic philanthropic investments, community partnerships and projects that advance equity through whole-person health in underserved communities across Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington. In this role, Leslie works with the corporate philanthropy team to evaluate new areas for investments and leads efforts to build and measure value-producing partnerships and alliances in areas such as behavioral health, caregiving and health equity. 

Prior to working at Cambia, Leslie worked in the nonprofit sector where she served in positions that were responsible for strategic organizational planning, grant writing, fund development and personnel management. She has a personal passion for working with and serving older adults, demonstrated through 20 years of personal and professional experience in the field of aging and caregiving. Leslie has served on a variety of advisory boards and coalitions throughout the Portland metro area that work to address the needs of older adults and people with disabilities.  

Leslie is based in Portland, Ore. where she serves on the board of directors for Ride Connection, a local transportation nonprofit organization, and is currently a member of the 2023 Leadership Portland cohort with the Portland Business Alliance. Leslie also serves on the Cambia Ethics Advisory Board and as an organizational co-lead with the Grantmakers for Effective Organizing Race Equity Fellowship. In 2019, Leslie received a Cambia Value Award which represents the highest honor an employee can receive. She was recognized for her work in palliative care by receiving the award for the company value of Hope. Leslie has a Bachelor of Science degree from Madonna University and an MBA from the University of Portland.
