We deeply value the important work that nonprofit organizations do across the communities we serve, and we wish we could support every worthy initiative. However, our funding capacity is limited, and we maintain specific focus areas to maximize our impact. Our grantmaking is focused on furthering our vision to advance equity through whole-person health across Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Utah. Health Care Workforce

Our 2026 Health Care Workforce Request for Proposals (RFP) closed on April 9, 2026. The RFP document remains available for reference. Applicants will be notified of decisions the week of June 1, 2026. Healthy and Connected Aging

Resilient Children and Families

In 2026, we plan to release one Resilient Children and Families Request for Proposals (RFP). Remaining funds outside of the RFP will be awarded through an invitation-only application process. Information on timing will be updated here in April  2026.

Scholarship for the Health Care Workforce

The scholarship application for the 2026-2027 school year closed on March 2, 2026. Oregon Community Foundation partners with the Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC) to administer its scholarship funds. OSAC’s common application allows students to access numerous scholarships including The Cambia Health Foundation / Paula A. Jones Endowed Scholarship. Check the status of your application in the OSAC portal

This scholarship is available to students in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Utah who are from communities traditionally unrepresented in professional health care roles including students from rural areas as well as students who are Black, Indigenous and people of color.
