NeighborCare Health: On the Front Lines of COVID-19
Community health centers are the backbone of the primary care safety net and in rural communities they are often the only option for primary and preventive care.  COVID-19  is having a devastating impact on many of these front-line providers and their ability to support communities hardest hit by the health and economic impacts of the pandemic.

Through emergency funding from Cambia Health Foundation and other philanthropic organizations, NeighborCare Health, a Seattle-based community health center, is working to balance patient care for all issues related to COVID-19 with ongoing critical care for chronic disease management, emergency dental and high risk pregnancies, to prevent unnecessary visits to the hospital and ensure those most in need during this unprecedented health crisis are served.

Specifically, the leveraged funds have been used to
  • Setup several parking lot and drive-up COVID-19 testing clinics
  • Implement telehealth services
  • Purchase additional necessities and supplies like PPEs
We are honored to support the work of organizations on the front lines who are providing essential services during these challenging and uncertain times.
