Response of Primary Care Safety Net Providers to COVID-19
Cambia Health Foundation is committed to partnering with visionary organizations who share the Foundation’s desire to eliminate disparities by focusing on the whole person: their physical, emotional, social, financial, and behavioral health. Our Healthy People, Healthy Communities work is guided by the belief that health disparities are not inevitable and that all people should have access to what is needed to live their healthiest lives. This guiding principle to our work is also central to our community response to COVID-19 and it will be the basis of how we can support people, organizations, and communities recover.

Recently, Foundation Program Officer, Steve Lesky, was invited to participate in COVID-19 Response I in the Primary Care Safety webinar along with representatives of the National Association of Community Health Centers and the REACH Healthcare Foundation that spotlighted how primary care safety net providers are playing a vital role in COVID-19 response. Listen to learn how this front-line healthcare workforce is addressing immediate needs, the key challenges they are facing, and the ways philanthropy can best support response and recovery efforts following this pandemic.
